C Chromy pitching

Tuesday, March 12th

Westover Christian Academy Baseball team took to the diamond for the opening game of the season sporting some new uniforms facing the crosstown George Washington High School Varsity boys at American Legion Field.

The Bulldogs played as well as the new uniforms looked. Five different Bulldogs had multiple hits including Elijah Johnson, Chase Jordan, Silas Zeidler, Colt Chromy, and Ben Knecht.

The Bulldogs were anchored defensively on the mound by Freshman Colt Chromy.  Chromy struck out 11 while allowing 3 runs through 4 innings. Overall, the Bulldogs had a great team effort with 8 players scoring at least one run and 7 players driving in at least one run.  Ben Knecht hit an in-the-park homerun against the Eagles!

Westover will be back on the field Friday afternoon when they travel to Rockingham County High School at 4:00.
