The Westover Christian Academy Girls Varsity Soccer team faced off against crosstown high school, Galileo, on Tuesday, April 16th. WCA was led in scoring by freshman midfielder Mollie Grace Lackey; who scored two goals and had one assist. Senior Amaiyah Dillion scored on a cross and had one assist. Sophomore Abigail Kendrick and freshman LaCie Walker also scored. Solid play was given by junior midfielder Kaitlyn Moss and by defenders senior Skyla Goddard, junior Rhyan Wulff, and junior Addy Nelson. Junior Chloe Smith recorded six saves. The Bulldogs netted their first win of the season and improved to a 1-3-1 record. The Varsity girls will play again Thursday in Lynchburg vs. Timberlake at 4:30.
