WCA moves to 6-3-1 on the season
Westover Christian Girls soccer grabs another win under the lights and grabs its second winning regular season in a row. Westover and Galileo had a highly competitive match Monday night. Westover's defense struggled with the speed of Galileo in the first 5 minutes but locked in and played exceptional defense the rest of the game. Sophomore Mollie Grace Lackey scored 5 goals in the match. Excellent assists came from seniors Emily Evans and Katelyn Moss. Evans crossed a beautiful ball, and Moss added a nice through ball. Junior Damaris Chilton stepped in and provided solid goal play for Westover's injured goalkeeper. Exceptional defense was also provided by sophomore LaiCie Walker and seniors Addy Nelson, Katelyn Moss, Abigail Salvador, and Rhyan Wulff. WCA travels to Temple on 4/29 to play Grace Christian at 5:00.
