It was a night to remember for Westover Christian Academy senior Grace Woodard, who reached a major career milestone by recording her 1,000th assist as the Bulldogs defeated Faith Hurt in straight sets: 25-9, 25-10, 25-8.
Woodard finished the match with 19 assists, moving her into third place all-time in school history for career assists — a testament to her consistency, leadership, and skill as a setter.
The Bulldogs delivered a dominant team performance:
- Gracie Loftis led the way with 9 kills and 9 digs
- Mollie Lackey added 7 kills and 8 digs
- Mady Aaron contributed 3 kills
- Madison Hughes and Ava Belk each chipped in with 2 kills
With the win, WCA improves to 6-6 on the season. The Bulldogs will face C.H.Friends tonight at home, looking to build on their momentum at 7:15. JV plays at 6:00, MS at 4:45.
