Westover Christian Academy’s Varsity Boys Soccer team earned a spot in the VACA State Final for only the second time in school history with a commanding 2–0 playoff victory over Timberlake Christian School.

The Bulldogs opened the scoring in the first half when senior striker Colton Daniel delivered a precise corner kick to Ben Knecht, who headed it home to give Westover the early lead. In the second half, center attacker Bryson Moss sealed the win with a spectacular left-footed strike from 20 yards out, placing the ball in the top corner of the net.

Westover’s defense remained solid throughout the match, allowing no goals. The Bulldogs finished with no injuries, yellow cards, or penalty kicks conceded.

Bryson Moss was named Player of the Game for his outstanding performance and game-clinching goal.

With this win, the Bulldogs advance to the VACA State Semifinal, scheduled for Friday at 7:00 PM against Grace Christian School of Staunton, VA. The match will be held at the Smith River Sports Complex in Martinsville.
