It was a big WIN against Rockingham Rage for our varsity basketball team tonight, & a great way to end senior night for our 6 senior guys. Go Bulldogs!🎉





The Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs won on Senior Night 77-57 vs. Rockingham Rage.All six seniors scored for WCA. The bulldogs had 5 players in double figures led by Senior Jezekiah Morris who had 16. WCA was hot in the first half scoring 41 points and holding the Rage to 22. Things tightened up in the mid-fourth quarter as the Rage cut the lead as low as 5. WCA pulled away with a 24 point 4th quarter explosion.
Senior Austin Salmon had a big night with 11 points including 2 three’s in the first quarter. Senior Dawson Booth had a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds along with 2 blocks and 3 steals. Isaac Motley had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Josh Lewis had 10 points and 8 rebounds to go with 5 blocks.
Matt Moore came off the bench with great hustle and scored 6 points all in the second quarter. Dylan Aaron had 5 points. Seniors Austin Carroll and Jimmy Zheng added 2 apiece.
Bulldogs are now 14-4 for the regular season. VACA SE District champions and awaits the first round regional opponent for next week.

Have you ever wanted to eat LOTS of cupcakes?! Our mystery reader brought a fun Pink-a-licious book about a girl who LOVED pink and LOVED cupcakes! Everyone loved hearing how she turned pink... and enjoyed yummy pink cupcakes themselves!! Thank you Mrs. Lackey for making reading such a fun learning experience!
