Third Grade was honored to have Meagan Durham, sophomore here at WCA and Miss Martinsville-Henry County's Outstanding Teen, read to our class, share her story about being a Type 1 Diabetic Warrior, and answer questions. In partnership with JDRF, she wants to inspire and educate everyone. Thank you, Meagan!

When they overlap it gets dark…
But it will be light again soon!

He is not here... He is RISEN! 💜
To review the Easter Story 1st grade made resurrection rolls. The marshmallow represented Jesus body, the cinnamon/sugar represented the spices put on Jesus body and the croissant represented Jesus tomb…. After 3 days (or 10 minutes in the oven 😉) Jesus’ body was no longer in the tomb! He had RISEN! A yummy way to review the wonderful story of Easter!
