Kindergartners are learning to measure items with inches!
Today, our English 9 students stepped into the courtroom for an engaging mock trial after completing their reading of the classic novel, "To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee.
Over the past week, student teams worked diligently to develop an arguable central claim, crafted compelling opening and closing statements, and prepared thoughtful questions for witnesses that supported their arguments.
The case focused on Sheriff Tate's decision to shield Arthur "Boo" Radley from a public trial after he acted to save the lives of the Finch children. As they examined the case, students had to decide whether Tate's personal judgment should've outweighed his responsibility to uphold the law, which sparked debates about justice and moral responsibility.
Tomorrow we will celebrate with popcorn as we begin watching Gregory Peck bring this story to life in one of his most iconic roles. For today, congratulations to each of you! What an accomplishment!
March Madness isn’t just for basketball! 🏀
AP Government students took on the role of “selection committees,” seeding and bracketing 32 landmark Supreme Court cases. After analyzing each matchup, they advanced their picks round by round until one case emerged as the champion. 🏆
To top it off, students presented their results in exciting, ESPN-style presentations—bringing civics to life in a whole new way! 🎤
Today we learned about how Jesus came to Jerusalem on the donkey. We learned the people and children were singing and praising Him. They waved the palm branches just like the people did that day!
Third grade had a super fun science lesson all about chemical changes!
We didn’t just read about it…we experienced it by making slime! As we mixed our ingredients together, we watched a chemical change happen right before our eyes. The liquids combined and transformed into a stretchy, squishy solid…so cool!
There were lots of smiles, a little mess, and a whole lot of learning. Science is always more exciting when you can see it, touch it, and play with it!

Kindergarten is loving our stem center this week. They are making houses for their peeps. 🐥
Our third graders are learning all about the states of matter in science and what better way to explore than with a hands-on (and tasty!) experiment!
Today, we made ice cream floats using Sprite and root beer to see solids, liquids, and gases in action. From the fizzy bubbles to the melting ice cream, it was the perfect way to bring science to life.
We are learning about our 5 senses this week. Today we smelled with our nose and tasted with our tongues. We had something salty, sour and sweet.
Our middle and high school students were blessed to hear from missionary Odir Brandão, who serves in São Paulo, Brazil! 🇧🇷
Our 7th–12th grade boys also enjoyed a special time with him during Young Men’s Bible classes, where they were encouraged and challenged in their faith. We’re thankful for the opportunity to learn how God is working around the world! ✝️🌍
