God made the sun…☀️ God made the moon…🌖 When they overlap it gets dark… But it will be light again soon! 1st grade had fun creating eclipse crowns, discussing the eclipse and watching a video about what will happen this afternoon!

He is not here... He is RISEN! 💜 To review the Easter Story 1st grade made resurrection rolls. The marshmallow represented Jesus body, the cinnamon/sugar represented the spices put on Jesus body and the croissant represented Jesus tomb…. After 3 days (or 10 minutes in the oven 😉) Jesus’ body was no longer in the tomb! He had RISEN! A yummy way to review the wonderful story of Easter!

Fourth Grade spent this six weeks reading "Number the Stars" by Lois Lowry. This historical fiction novel tells the true story of how the Danish people smuggled their Jewish friends and neighbors to freedom in a Nazi occupied Denmark. Students recreated their favorite scenes from the book. They did a fabulous job! 🇩🇰

First graders are scientists! Mrs. Lundy and Beach’s class had a fun Easter experiment! First we made a prediction on what would happen if a peep was placed in water, vinegar or soda. We recorded our results and had a yummy treat at the end! 🐰
