We love to play with our pumpkin sensory bins in K2!

Today a group of Mrs. Inman’s K5 students got to experience “Partner Reading” with a book buddy. The goal was to “picture walk” through a book, make predictions, look for sight words they’ve learned, find blends, and attempt to sound out words. I see a great group of future readers in K5!

Sixth grade had the honor of helping God’s Pit Crew pack 1,000 food boxes today. Great job guys!!

The WCA Honor Society recently served at God’s Storehouse, packing food bags to be distributed to children with food insecurity in Danville. After packing the bags, Honor Society members also prayed over the food bags and helped around the Storehouse.

Collaboration is a beautiful thing!

Mrs. Johnson’s K4 class loved getting to see & explore the fire truck last week! We love Fire Safety week!

Lego stamping our orange pumpkin in K2!

Kindergarten was looking good today in our new class t-shirts!

Fifth grade learned about physical and chemical changes. They enjoyed eating the physical change , trail mix and got all “shook up “ on the chemical change.

Fall is officially here, what better way to celebrate than with another project? 4th grade has been identifying & classifying leaves! Their projects are AWESOME TOO!

We are learning about David and Goliath in K3. We used Pompoms as stones to defeat Goliath!

How many 4th graders can fit in President Taft’s bathtub? Historians are divided on whether Taft actually got stuck in the bathtub or if it’s only a myth. However, it is a well known fact that Taft commissioned multiple large tubs during his time as president, the largest of which was 8ft. X 4ft. Today we read the book “President Taft is Stuck in the Bath” by Mac Barnett and measured out the size of Taft’s tub! 🛀 🇺🇸

1st grade is busy reading! Today to review their finished chart they played CHART CHAMPION! Yay for Madison who was Mrs. Beach’s class champion! 📖

Fire truck fun in K2!

Fifth grade is learning about elements, molecules, and compounds. We used legos to demonstrate these .
