Every student in each class is writing out their favorite Bible verses to put in a book to encourage each of the moms! What a humbling experience to be a part of. Merry Christmas 🎄

Second graders learning about earthworms! They like the dark!

In between classes yesterday, I was walking down this hall behind two high school girls when I heard one of them say to the other with completely sincerity, "I'll be praying!" Hearing something like that in contrast to what I would likely hear in any other high school hallway makes all the difference. ❤

During this Advent season, hope, love, peace, and joy are our focus. Today the sweet 3rd graders in Mrs. Owen's class left me a lovely note, bringing me great joy. I later heard they did this during their free play time. I am always grateful for these random acts of kindness. It is a gift to care for the students at WCA!
