Following double overtime , the game went to a shoot out.In the shoot out freshman Ashton Bettendorf made two great saves . Bettendorf played amazing as golie all night for the Bulldogs. All four of Westover Bulldog's kickers made their kicks to win the game. This included senior captain Justin Oakes senior captain Isaac Motley, junior captain Chris Miller and junior Matthew Moore. Overall against the 17 bands in the first half of the day Westover Drum Majors were 2nd of 17, the Color Guard was 3rd of 17 and overall our band was 6th of 17. This is quite an accomplishment since we have never competed as a Class AAA band before. We want to thank our parent volunteers and junior high pit crew students along with alumni Caroline Davis and Nathan Pruitt for helping make this season a huge success. The band's next performance is on November 10th at the Danville Veterans Day Pardae. Thank you for your continued prayer and support! Mrs. D

Mystery reader fun! K4 had another wonderful volunteer who came to be a mystery reader to their loved ones classroom! They read a fun story about cooking and spending time with a loved one. As a special surprise they even brought a tasty treat! Thank you for making reading and learning fun! WCA is blessed with great parents who support our little ones learning!
