Reading & Cursive Camp FUN! 🏕️ 🤩 Future firsties are enjoying the first week of camp! They had fun reviewing phonics and learning CURSIVE! Only a few weeks till they are officially FIRST GRADERS! Mrs. Beach and reading for week two of camp next week!

We had an amazing time visiting Danville Regional Airport today! Our students climbed into an Averett University airplane and learned how the flight controls help maneuver the aircraft. We also discovered how airplanes are refueled—and did you know airplane fuel is dyed blue? Next, we rode the airport trolley and got a behind-the-scenes look at the important work the grounds crew does every day to keep pilots and passengers safe. To top it all off, we visited the control tower, where we watched several planes take off and land! A huge thank you to Mark, Travis, and the entire airport staff for giving us such a fun, educational, and unforgettable experience!

Our WCA administration and office staff may be missing our students, but they’re sending lots of love from afar! We hope our Bulldogs are enjoying their summer! ❤️🐾

Our older summer camp group had an amazing time visiting 103.3 WAKG and WBTM! The kids got a behind the scenes tour of the radio station, learned about the history of broadcasting, explored the recording studios, and even had the opportunity to record a message that may be played on the radio! It was such a fun and educational experience, and we are so thankful to the wonderful staff for taking the time to teach our campers and make them feel so welcome. We had a blast! Who knows? You just might hear one of our campers on the radio soon!

A fresh coat of paint is making a big difference at WCA! 🎨🐾 We are so thankful for the incredible volunteers from Westover Baptist Church who generously gave their time and talents to help refresh our campus. Your hard work is a beautiful reminder of what makes our school community so special. Thank you for investing in the future of our school and serving with such joyful hearts! ❤️

Summer Day Camp had a blast at the first showing of "Toy Story 5." We recommend you making this adorable movie a part of your weekend plans! We love SDC, time with friends, LOTS of popcorn and good movies!

Summer Day Camp is in full swing, and the smiles say it all! ☀️🎉 From exciting games and activities to enjoying delicious ice cream treats, our campers are making memories every day. Most importantly, we're taking time to worship together and grow in our faith during daily summer chapel.

🏀 Bulldog Basketball at Liberty! 🏀 Our Varsity Boys Basketball team had an incredible opportunity to attend camp at Liberty University last week! The Bulldogs sharpened their skills, built team chemistry, and gained valuable experience on the court. We are proud of the way these young men represented Westover Christian Academy and look forward to seeing all they accomplish this upcoming season!

Our 4th-6th grade campers checked out Ballou Park's Splash pad for today's field trip! We are grateful our community offers these fun adventures! We are also grateful for a great first week of Summer Day Camp and hope you enjoy your weekend ♥️ Can't wait to see you on Monday!

Hip! Hip! Hooray! It's the LAST DAY! 1st grade celebrated their LAST day of school Hawaiian style! 👀 Look out 2nd grade... HERE THEY COME!

Our last elementary chapel for 2025-26 school year was a special time of worship for all. PJ invited students to the stage for his special message and our fifth graders led our last worship song. It was amazing! God is so good! Praising Him for an awesome year! Happy Summer everyone!

This morning in chapel we celebrated our elementary Math Olympic team! We are so proud of all they accomplished this year! Congratulations!
