Half time of the Varsity Soccer game against Roanoke Valley and we are up 1-0!! GO BULLDOGS!!🎉

Our WCA band performed in the field show this past weekend and brought back six trophies and a first place award. We are so proud of these marching Bulldogs! But all of these accolades are small in comparison to this letter Mr. Davis received.
“It was my pleasure to sit near several of the Westover Christian Academy marching band members during the 4A and 5A performances yesterday in Greensboro. Your students were incredibly polite and personable. They represented themselves and your school beautifully. They showed support for each band that performed, and when they learned that my nephew plays for East Davidson, they made positive comments on the East performance and shared in my excitement over the East accomplishments.
I do not know the names of these young people, but if you ask your band members which ones sat at the fifty yard line, that is the group! I know you are proud of them, not only for their musical expertise, but also for the way they treat each other and the way they interact with complete strangers. I wish you all the very best school year and marching band season. Please let your students know that others notice and appreciate their conduct!“
What amazing praise for a group of Christian winners!!! Thank you for representing our school, our band, and Jesus Christ in such an exemplary manner.

Eighth-grade students are getting quite proficient at demonstrating their typing skills. They have also undertaken the challenge of experimenting with codes and creating short clip animations from a program by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
