WCA Alumni, Michael Farley, commands the U.S. Navy's Strike Fighter Squadron. He credits one of his former Westover high school teachers for setting high standards which helped him as he attended the U.S. Naval Academy and worked his way up through the ranks, securing his current position. Third Grade was honored to have Meagan Durham, sophomore here at WCA and Miss Martinsville-Henry County's Outstanding Teen, read to our class, share her story about being a Type 1 Diabetic Warrior, and answer questions. In partnership with JDRF, she wants to inspire and educate everyone. Thank you, Meagan!
