AP Government students worked together to re-write the sections of the Declaration of Independence as a high school break-up letter. The class had fun and laughs with this assignment as we studied one of our nation's foundational documents!




Mrs. Beach's class had a wonderful first week of FIRST GRADE! They worked together, learned 1st grade routines, made new friends, wrote their first cursive letters, and had lots of FUN!







WCA Varsity Volleyball Wins Sheets Memorial Tournament Championship! WCA Varsity Volleyball didn’t drop a single set this weekend, winning in dominating fashion. Emily Evans was named Tournament MVP and Skyla Goddard and Addy Nelson were named to the all-tournament team


Mrs. Holley's K4 class had a great first few days of preschool!






K2 read "Time For School Mouse" and then used watercolors to paint our mouse!

First day of K-3






Teacher Work Week is complete! WCA faculty and staff spent this week fellowshipping over breakfast and lunch, working in the classroom, preparing with in-service meetings, and best of all- praying together! We are excited for the new school year!

A fun first day of Reading and Cursive Camp for rising first graders! Lots of learning and fun! 🏕️ ✏️







The WCA Band Leadership attended camp with 800 students at JMU! What an excellent opportunity for members of our Marching Bulldogs!

He walks on water! 💦 After learning about Jesus walking on water K5-2nd grade performed their own experiments with water! They voted and tested to see which items would float and which ones would sink. They also used water colors to paint a picture of todays Bible lesson!






Summer Campers enjoyed meeting a new friend, Applejack! They learned about grooming horses and taking care of them and even got to feed AppleJack a treat!








3rd-7th grade Summer Day Camp students completed a STEM activity using spaghetti, tape, and string to build a tower that would hold a jumbo marshmallow. Groups competed against one another to build the strongest and tallest structures.



Older Summer Day Camp students participated in Chapel by acting out the story of Jacob and Esau. The students also learned about the binary code used in computer processing and coded their names.




3rd-7th grade Summer Day Campers did a "Fizzy Lemon" experiment today! They learned about the chemical reaction between an acid and a base. Afterward, they cooled off with lemonade to drink!
