First grade used their hundreds boards this week to review counting to 100! They also used Pom Poms to create addition combinations and their addition twins!




5th district Congressman, Bob Good, visited Westover to speak to 6th-12th grade students about his job and current issues being addressed in Washington D.C.




Third grade students helped lead worship today in chapel. They did a great job!

Seniors, Logan Brown and Zachary Alderson, are presented certificates from the American Legion for their summer participation in the week-long Boys State. This yearly event is one of the most respected and selective programs of government instruction.


Kindergarten students will look forward to a special treat that is round and shaped like a zero every 10 days from Zero the Hero!

First day of cooking in our Family Life Home Economics class with Mrs. Johnson, and the students learned how to boil water and make Ramen!





K-3 Letter of the week craft




Fifth grade has been learning about minerals and how they are removed from the crust of the Earth. We used a chocolate chip cookie and a toothpick to demonstrate getting the chips “minerals” out.





9th grade girls starting their quiet time devotional journals today. Each student was given a devotional to begin each day to promote daily spiritually healthy habits to spend time in God’s Word.


After getting to know their cameras and rules of Composition, Photography students took to the playground for some practice.





Elementary is singing to the Lord this morning during the first chapel of the year!




First grade has just started learning the first few letters in their cursive curriculum, and today they learned how to connect them! They were so excited to see words forming from their hard work!
