My heart is full today! Seeing my K4 loves learning and growing in academics at home! Learning can happen anywhere with any materials you have! You can learn by finding letters or words around the house, practicing writing letters/numbers/blends in shaving cream or counting sticks and sorting by size! Remember.. learning should be FUN!

Mrs. Beach is making a video to share her plans for teaching her children next week. We miss you all at school!

God is so good even through difficult times!! My heart is so happy!!

When your music teacher is super dedicated, you still have lessons during quarantine via Zoom! ❤

Love getting messages from my children! I miss them so much!!! I wish we could post videos on here. They sent such sweet messages!

We may not be together in the same building at the same time, but Spanish students are still working in the target language. All students are finishing up level appropriate novels and completing assignments! We have awesome students!! ¡Tenemos alumnos súpersalientes !

7th graders Holly Hutcherson and Anne Rylee Adkins FaceTime while completing a group devotional on the Bible app. They were challenged to do something new to stretch their brain or connect with friends in a different way by one of their teachers, and this is what they came up with! We love how our WCA students are pulling together and still connecting during this challenging time.

Happy Spring!! With today being the first day of spring, It is only fitting to read “There Was An Old Lady That Swallowed A Chick.”

A 4th Grader just shared “Virtual Field trips.” He has already “gone on” one and loved it. Enjoy!!

First graders are working hard from home this week. Thank you boys and girls for doing your best even when you are not at school. ⭐️ Each of you make Mrs. East very proud.

Technology is allowing Mrs. Perez to read to her students each day.

Thank you to our awesome teachers who have worked hard to make this time of transition as seamless as possible. Missing the traditional school setting but praying for God’s peace and protection during this time. We love our Westover family!

Picnic at Dan Danile park and pickle in the middle and volleyball with the kids. What are you doing for fun and to stay active?

Ninth graders... our supersaturated solution of magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) dripping onto a tray demonstrates the formation of stalagmites in a cave. Sorry you couldn’t see it yourself but I took a picture for you when I was in yesterday!

A great gift to help your little learner

If you’re not sure what else you can do to help your child learn during this time of closure- READ! Read their favorite book with them, try a new genre, read the newspaper, read a comic book. Just be sure to read!

Mrs. Perez is reading with her children! Technology is a wonderful thing to keep everyone in touch!
