Winter Blast Basketball at Westover Christian Academy kicked off today with the organizational meeting and first practice. Season starts January 11th. Coaches, players, and parents are all excited about this league of 1st - 3rd grade and 4th - 6th grade team play.

WIN!! Girls Varsity Basketball beat Holy Cross in a close battle 49-46
What a wonderful time of year it is! This is my gift from my secret friend! I am so thankful to be a part of an awesome community of co-workers that are friends! We have the opportunity to trade names and give anonymous gifts for 3 weeks and then on the 4th week we get to hand deliver our gifts. Thank you to my secret friend! I love my goodies!
Who is this Indian child? We had alot to learn about the Indians who helped the pilgrams. We strung beads,made headbands with turkey feathers, played games,shot a play bow, and had artifacts to learn about their ways of life.

The Middle School girls basketball team traveled to Lynchburg to take on Holy Cross. The Bulldogs won a tight contest 18 to 16. Emily Evans had 10 points, Chloe Smith four points, Addy Nelson and Skyler Goddard had two points each.
