Yucky or Yummy?!? While learning about the letter Yy Mrs. Beach and Mrs. Porterfieldâs class had a Yucky and Yummy Taste Test of different yellow foods. After trying each yellow food they had to decide if it was Yucky or Yummy! Learning is about creating fun, memorable experiences!

The Westover Christian Academy varsity boys basketball team returned home after seven straight games on the road. The Bulldogs won against district rival Timberlake. Final score was 71 to 29. Timberlake was without two starters which slowed the tornado attack considerably. However Joe Bledsoe of Timberlake had 19 points in spite of constant defensive pressure.
Westover was led in scoring by Dylan Aron and Josh Lewis both had 16. Dylan was a perfect seven for seven from the field. Dylan also had five rebounds three assists and three deflectionâs. Josh also had 16 points on seven of ten shooting from the field. Josh had 8 rebounds.
The undermanned tornadoes fought hard in the first quarter but trailed 20 to 12. Westover would stretch its lead with an 18 to 2 run in the 2nd quarter. And had the game basically in hand throughout the third and fourth quarter.
Westover had several players get in the act on the score board tonight including Jezekiah Morris who hit three threes and totaled out for 11 points, he also had three assists and won the homecoming king! Isaac Motley who was also on the homecoming coming court scored six points. Noah Burton had four. Austin Salmon, Jimmy Zhang and Austin Carroll all hit three point shots. Chris Miller had 8 points. Dawson Booth had 4 points and 7 rebounds.
WCA is now 10-4 overall and 7-0 in the VACA SE District. The bulldogs have doubled their win total from last year. WCA will return home to face SWVHS on Tuesday at 7:30.
